2015-2018
Architectural and structural building consolidation of the existing building, installation of mechanical, electrical, special and safety technological systems, and creation of an energy-efficient smart building.
Lot 3: reorganisation and renovation of Plant 2.
Lot 2: redevelopment and renovation of the entrance pavilion and central BZ2 building, as well as construction of the office building and underground garage.
The complex of the former Montecatini factory, dating back to 1936 and abandoned since the 1990s, is the subject of a major redevelopment project and becomes a technology and scientific research hub serving public institutes, universities and private companies. The NOI Techpark project is based on a renewed relationship between existing and new, transforming a “heavy factory” into a “research factory” and giving architectural form to innovation and sustainable development.
It is a unique project also in terms of the technical and technological solutions adopted: an energy-efficient smart building, rich in automation and comfort, with all management systems perfectly integrated. An innovative space that, while respecting the original structure, welcomes companies, laboratories, start-ups and workshops. Bettiol took part in the construction of lot 2 and lot 3 of the project.
